Partnership or Collaboration Policy

1. Purpose

This policy outlines how Children of God Christian Coaching CIC engages in partnerships and collaborations with individuals, churches, organisations, and institutions. Our aim is to build relationships that support our mission: helping children grow in their faith, identity, and relationship with Jesus in a safe, nurturing environment.

2. Principles of Partnership

All partnerships must align with our values and commitment to:

  • Christ-centred ministry
  • Child safety and safeguarding standards
  • Respect for all children and families
  • Transparency and accountability
  • Mutual benefit and shared goals

We seek to collaborate with like-minded Christian organisations, schools, parishes, charities, and community groups who uphold these principles.

3. Types of Collaboration

We may collaborate in the following ways:

  • Co-hosting workshops or events
  • Sharing resources or expertise
  • Referrals and signposting to family support
  • Joint training, prayer gatherings, or outreach projects
  • Volunteer or mentoring exchange

All collaborations are evaluated based on how they serve children and strengthen our ministry impact.

4. Formal Agreements

Where appropriate, partnerships will be formalised through written agreements or memorandums of understanding (MOUs). These documents may outline:

  • Roles and responsibilities
  • Safeguarding obligations
  • Communication methods
  • Evaluation or reporting expectations
  • Duration and review periods

5. Safeguarding and Conduct

All partners must:

  • Adhere to our Safeguarding Policy and procedures
  • Provide appropriate safeguarding documentation and checks (e.g., DBS)
  • Commit to safe, respectful, and Christ-like conduct

We reserve the right to withdraw from any partnership where child safety, mission integrity, or legal standards are compromised.

6. Financial and Promotional Collaboration

  • Any financial or fundraising collaboration must be clearly agreed in writing
  • Joint promotions must reflect our brand values and be pre-approved by both parties
  • Use of our name or logo requires prior written consent

7. Monitoring and Review

All active partnerships will be reviewed periodically to ensure they continue to support our mission and uphold our values. Feedback and evaluation are welcomed to improve the impact of our work together.
